Speakers

Session 1 @ 14:30 pm: Workshop on Monetising Digital with Andy Coghlan, Global Head of MarTech & eCommerce, Wipro Digital

Customers are more digitally fluent and digitally equipped than ever before and their expectations rise at a breathtaking rate, since digital native enterprises such as Alibaba, Tencent, Netflix and Amazon are driving and rewiring consumer behavior. This leaves no space for companies that don’t understand what technologies are required to satisfy their needs. Therefore, business leaders are constantly pushed to reinvent their business models, in order to capture the greater possible mindshare of the hyperconnected consumer. Many organizations have gone through the process of incubating and building out new digital cases to do so. However, the major challenge associated with the next steps would be to deliver business outcomes through monetizing the delivery of digital experiences.

Session 2 @ 15:15 pm: TBA with Maritza Guaderrama, CEO Designit Spain.

IDC’s research shows that even though organizations are running digital projects with the aspiration of becoming a “digital-native enterprise,” many are still stuck on their DX journey. One of the main reasons for this is the absence of the right technology architecture to accelerate new capabilities. Thus, in order to scale their digital efforts, organizations need to develop an enterprise digital platform that is spans across IT, digital and business domains, where the core IT and the systems of engagement are integrated and create a singular view of the ecosystem.

About IDC European Digital Executive Summit 2018

Businesses are obsessed with digital transformation. It has become a topic of discussion and concern across all industries and business segments. IDC finds that 89% of enterprises currently consider it a major business priority. However, across Europe we find various levels of maturity among organizations that have embarked on a digital transformation journey. In fact, a recent IDC study has even shown that 59% of businesses have become stuck, with no way to turn back and unable to advance.

The summit is designed as an invitation-only information-sharing forum to provide an intimate networking platform for CxO and LoB executives from leading European organizations. Attendees will engage in challenging debates and cutting edge knowledge sharing with IDC analysts and industry thought leaders regarding the opportunities that digital transformation provides to gain competitive advantage.
