The DMA has launched a major new campaign to promote excellence in customer engagement, which will include major events, groundbreaking research and more. Wipro Digital got involved by sharing our expertise on customer journey engineering at the campaign’s launch event held at the British Museum.
The event was attended by numerous brands and agencies, and featured 15 centre-stage talks and workshops to educate audiences on customer engagement. Wipro Digital’s George Ioannou, along with Derek Wiesner of IBM (our strategic partner), delivered a session entitled “How to provide a seamless customer journey experience in a truly fragmented world”.
The successful event was driven by the DMA’s vision to promote customer centricity, which was introduced on their website:
”If you build a rapport with your customers, and you have something they want, then they will buy from you again and again. We want to know what builds this rapport. We know creativity, data and technology are factors but we don’t know how the interplay works. That’s why we developed our Customer Engagement campaign, to find out what makes brilliant engagement, for the benefit of marketers and consumers everywhere.”
